MTS Systems plans stock buyback, lifts dividend (Pioneer Press)
The board of Eden Prairie-based MTS Systems authorized a stock buyback of up to 3 million shares in addition to the approximately 575,000 shares remaining under an existing plan. MTS, which makes test systems and industrial sensors, also raised its quarterly dividend 36 percent to 15 cents per share. The fourth-quarter dividend will be paid Oct. 1 to shareholders of record Sept. 14.
