September 2007 (Watertown Daily Times)
Alice L. Baumann, 86, of Watertown, died Thursday afternoon, Sept. 27, 2007, at the Watertown Memorial Hospital, from pneumonia, following a major stroke. She was proud to have survived two courageous bouts with cancer.

Insulin containers should be kept in carry-on luggage and packed between layers of clothing to protect against breakage and temperature extremes. Insulin keeps for at least 1 month unrefrigerated if protected from freezing and temperatures above 30°C (86°F). Ideally, however, it should be refrigerated in hot climates.
